Storyboards

Storyboards are an integral part of the pre production process. It llows the entire cast and crew to understand how each shot should be filmed as well as giving a basic idea of the story in visual form. A storyboard is essential for the crew to set up each shot correctlly so that it can be filmed with as few problems as possible. A good storyboard should have a detailed drawing of each shot with any camera movements shown. It should also include annotations to provide further details to crew members in order to correctly set up and film. Below are some examples of storyboards that we recently made for a short crime film. As we were time limited for this project we drew stick figures however we would ordinarily produce them in far more detail.
